Letter from Moses Holbrook to John James Joseph Gourgas. Dated December 24, 1827. In this letter, Sovereign Grand Commander Holbrook of the Southern Jurisdiction expresses his remorse for the confusion regarding his letter of November 29. Explains how Jeremy Cross, a Cerneau follower, became an honorary member of the Southern Jurisdiction’s Supreme Council. Thanks Gourgas for his “extensive Masonic knowledge” and concludes that he has heard nothing from Giles Fonda Yates and Boston.
