Description

National day of mourning, June 1st, 1865 paper ribbon. This memorial ribbon depicts President Abraham Lincoln with the words, “Died April 15, 1865.” Below the depiction of Lincoln resides a quote from the President’s Second Inaugural Address. Imprint reads, “Entered according to Act of Congress in the year 1865, by E. N. Moore & Co. in the clerk’s office of the District Court of Massachusetts.”
