Description
A letter from “Fred” to “John.” Dated November 28, 1866. In this letter, the author describes the state of Freemasonry on the island of Trinidad and asks his friend “John” to send information regarding the history of Freemasonry on Trinidad. The author wishes to use the information to resolve the legitimacy of the island’s lodges created by the rivaling factions of Andrés Cassard, initially supported by the Southern Jurisdiction, and Vicente Antonio de Castro.
