Description

This manuscript in Latin signed by Edward VI, dated May 7, 1553 at the Palace of Westminster is a confirmation to the Earl of Rutland, Lord Lt. of Lincolnshire, of an agreement between citizens of Butterwick and Freston and Randulph de Blundeville, Earl of Chester and Lincoln. A detached large red wax seal of Duchy of Lancaster accompanied the document.
