Letter from Moses Holbrook to John James Joseph Gourgas. Dated June 11, 1827. In this letter, Sovereign Grand Commander Holbrook of the Southern Jurisdiction provides a manuscript copy of Henry Andrew Francken's patent to Samuel Stringer of Albany, New York. Holbrook reports that he is sending copies of the degree manuscripts. Comments that former Sovereign Grand Commander Frederick Dalcho of the Southern Jurisdiction is “still unwilling to assist in work of” the Southern Jurisdiction’s Supreme Council. Concludes by thanking Gourgas for his “generosity and benevolence.”
