Description

Letter from Moses Holbrook to John James Joseph Gourgas. Dated January 15, 1827. In this letter, Sovereign Grand Commander Holbrook of the Southern Jurisdiction replies that he prizes Gourgas sentiments expressed in his letter of January 8, 1827, and the documents sent. Holbrook reports that France has failed to answer the Southern Jurisdiction’s letters and inquiries regarding the presence of any Scottish Rite bodies in France; Jamaica has not replied as well.
