Letter from Archibald Bull to John James Joseph Gourgas. Dated January 20, 1848. In this letter, Archibald Bull, a member of the Supreme Council, states to Sovereign Grand Commander Gourgas that he has seen Gourgas’ November 8th letter, which was sent to Giles Fonda Yates, and agrees with his sentiments regarding Sovereign Grand Commander Robert Thomas Crucefix of England. Bull also states that he wishes to protect the Scottish Rite and the Supreme Council from attacks and apologizes for neglecting his duties because of his poor health.
