The Webster Vase engraving. Dated 1838. This engraving depicts the Webster Vase, a silver vase presented by the citizens of Boston to their U.S. Senator, Daniel Webster. Below the depiction of the vase is an extract from Senator Webster’s January 26-27, 1830, speech in Congress. Imprint at the bottom reads, “Published by N. Dearborn & Son. 53 Washington St. Boston, Mass 1838.”
